complete list of problems, questions, and topics that architects might face after joining platform.
As an architect on the BDesigner platform, your performance is continuously monitored to ensure high service quality and client satisfaction. This guide explains how the rating system works, how your actions influence your score, and how you can track and improve your performance to secure more project opportunities.
Your overall performance is calculated using a weighted score system based on the following four major factors:
| Rating Factor | Description | Weightage |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Service Delivery | Timely and quality completion of design tasks (including file uploads). | 40% |
| 2. Response Rate | How quickly and consistently you reply to client/consultant messages. | 30% |
| 3. Estimate Pass Rate | Accuracy and feasibility of estimates you provide in the platform. | 20% |
| 4. Audit Fail History | If your submitted files fail internal consultant audit checks. | 10% |
These values are calculated automatically using platform tracking tools.
Once your weighted score is calculated, it is converted into a 5-star rating system for easy visibility:
4.5 – 5.0 Stars – Excellent
4.0 – 4.4 Stars – Good
3.0 – 3.9 Stars – Average
Below 3.0 Stars – Needs Improvement
This rating is shown in your architect profile, visible to consultants and clients during project assignment decisions.
To promote transparency and long-term trust, we show:
Current Star Rating (live)
Last 5 Project Ratings to reflect your recent consistency
Client Feedback Tags (e.g., “Fast delivery,” “Great communication,” etc.)
Revision handling history and file approval quality
Your ratings are automatically updated based on your actions in each project:
File upload time and correctness
Your responsiveness in chat
Consultant feedback or audit status
How well you manage revisions
You can check your personal performance report anytime from the architect web panel:
Log in to your Architect Panel.
Go to "Ratings & Reports" section.

If your overall rating drops due to continuous issues:
You may be restricted from applying to new projects temporarily.
You will receive a warning alert with reasons and action steps.
Affected architects can appeal and request a review through the platform if they feel the rating is unfair.
Deliver files on or before the deadline with correct formats and clean naming.
Communicate actively with both clients and consultants inside group chat.
Request clarification whenever client inputs are unclear to avoid revision loops.
Submit realistic estimates in the estimation section, especially for material or area-related design tasks.
Avoid audit rejections by following all design guidelines before submission.
Your ratings are not just numbers—they represent your reliability, trustworthiness, and future opportunities on the BDesigner platform. Stay consistent, communicate clearly, and deliver with care to maintain a strong profile.
If you still have questions, visit the “Help” section in your Architect Panel or contact the consultant team via group chat.
Keep building. Keep growing. With BDesigner.
As an architect on the BDesigner platform, your star rating isn’t just a number — it’s a direct reflection of your professionalism, reliability, and design quality. Maintaining a 4.0+ star rating plays a crucial role in your long-term success, project access, income growth, and overall reputation in our ecosystem.
In this blog, we’ll walk you through why your 4+ star rating matters, what you gain by maintaining it, and what you risk by falling below — all explained in a detailed, step-by-step way.
Architects with 4+ stars get priority access to new projects.
When a client fills a design form, our consultant panel and algorithm prioritize architects with higher ratings. A 4.0+ star rating gives you:
Early notification for eligible projects
Higher chance of being shortlisted by consultants
Repeat projects from satisfied clients
The better your rating, the more visible and trusted you become in the system.
Better ratings = Better project flow = More income.
Architects with 4+ star ratings:
Get more frequent project invitations
Are considered for premium & high-paying projects
Can build long-term relationships with clients & consultants
Your consistent rating directly affects your monthly earnings and long-term growth.
Ratings below 4.0 may result in warnings, project limits, or removal from the active list.
If your rating falls below the expected threshold:
You might face temporary suspension from new projects
You will receive a performance warning
You may be required to undergo a review or improvement checklist
Maintaining a 4+ star rating protects you from these negative actions and keeps your workflow uninterrupted.
High ratings build trust faster with new clients.
Clients and consultants both view your star rating before assigning work. A 4+ rating tells them:
You are reliable
You handle deadlines well
You deliver quality work with minimal revisions
You communicate professionally
💬 Architects with lower ratings may be doubted even before they start a project.
The platform tracks your last 5 project ratings. Maintaining a 4+ star average ensures:
Better performance reports
Strong portfolio visibility
Higher chances to become a “Preferred Architect” on the platform
🏅 Bonus: Top-rated architects may be featured in special programs, case studies, or advanced training batches.
| Rating Band | Consequences |
|---|---|
| 3.5 – 3.9 Stars | Warning issued + monitored improvement needed |
| 3.0 – 3.4 Stars | Limited project access + possible penalty implementation |
| Below 3.0 Stars | Temporary project ban + required improvement process |
If you feel your rating drop is unfair, you can submit an appeal and request a review from the consultant team. Every project is monitored fairly, with real-time tracking.
Upload files on time and in the required format.
Actively communicate in the client-consultant chat group.
Avoid frequent audit fails — double-check your work.
Submit realistic estimates — not too high or too vague.
Be open to revisions and accept professional feedback positively.
Your star rating on BDesigner is your digital reputation badge. Keeping it above 4.0 helps you unlock better projects, build stronger relationships, and grow your design career with stability and respect.
So remember — every message, every file, and every deadline shapes your next opportunity.
Stay consistent. Stay committed. Stay above 4.0.
Your career deserves nothing less.

We understand that not every rating always tells the full story. Sometimes, ratings may feel unfair — due to client misunderstanding, unexpected delays outside your control, or miscommunication.
That’s why BDesigner gives every architect the right to request a fair review of their rating. This process ensures transparency and protects your reputation as a professional.
In this article, we’ll explain when and how to request a rating review, what details to include, and how your case will be handled.
You can raise a request if:
A client gave you a low rating (below 4 stars) based on incorrect information
There was a technical or communication issue not caused by you
The project experienced delays or changes from the client’s side
You submitted all files on time, yet the rating doesn’t reflect your efforts
You feel the consultant misunderstood your work or intent
Note: You cannot appeal a rating if you missed deadlines, ignored feedback, or submitted incomplete work. Reviews are only considered when the claim is genuine, fair, and backed by evidence.
Before sending your request, collect all the key information:
Project ID and title
Client name (as mentioned in the app)
Consultant name
Date of project assignment and submission
Screenshots of messages, file submission time, revision requests (if any)
Keeping this ready shows that you're serious and organized.
You must send a detailed review request email to our official architect support mail.
Send your request to:
👉 support@bdesigner.in
Subject Line:Rating Review Request – [Your Name] – Project ID: [XYZ123]
What to Include in the Email:
Brief reason for your review request
Clear explanation of what went wrong
Any evidence you want us to consider (screenshots, file timestamps, messages, etc.)
Your architect name and registered email ID
Your email should reflect maturity and professionalism. Avoid blaming the client or being emotional. Instead, focus on facts:
Example:
“I submitted all files on time and followed all instructions. The client reduced the rating due to a misunderstanding about the estimate section, which I had already explained in the group. I request a fair review.”
Once your email is submitted:
Our consultant review panel will investigate your claim
We may re-check group chats, project timelines, and submissions
The review process may take 3–5 working days
If approved, your rating will be updated and reflected in your profile immediately.
You can track your updated rating in the “Ratings & Report” section of your architect panel after the review is complete.
If your appeal was accepted, you’ll see the new rating and feedback.
If rejected, the original rating remains — but we will share a short explanation for transparency.

Building trust. Empowering architects.
In your architectural journey with BDesigner, technical coordination with consultants plays a vital role in ensuring your designs are accurate, safe, and aligned with client expectations. Whether it's about structural feasibility, Vastu alignment, stair direction, set-back rules, or ventilation, your assigned consultant is your go-to expert.
Here’s a clear step-by-step guide for architects on how to talk to consultants for technical checks — ensuring a smooth and efficient project flow.
Technical checks refer to reviewing and confirming architectural decisions based on:
Building codes
Vastu or religious preferences
Structural limitations
Stair direction & placement
Bathroom/toilet positions
Ventilation and natural light
Column positions and foundation assumptions
Site-level issues (like road slope, setbacks, or north direction)
Before you start designing
When you feel uncertain about a design decision
If client requests any technical validation
When the form is incomplete or confusing
Before sending the final floor plan or elevation file
Every project assigned to you will have a chat group that includes:
You (Architect)
The Consultant
The Client
You’ll find this in your Architect Dashboard → Deals → Chat Section.
Tag the consultant with @ and describe what input you need.
“@ConsultantName – Could you please confirm the best stair position and direction based on Vastu for this 30x40 south-facing plot?”
“@ConsultantName – Kindly check if the toilet positions are okay per Vastu and plumbing setup. Let me know if any change needed before finalizing.”
“@ConsultantName – Before I freeze this plan, can you check if column placement and wall alignments are structurally feasible?”
If needed, attach:
A screenshot of the current floor plan
Markup image (with arrows or notes)
Reference sketch
This helps the consultant quickly understand your concern.
The consultant will:
Cross-check your concerns
Verify it based on client preferences, Vastu, and practical norms
Share their feedback or suggestions in the same group
They may also call the client directly if clarification is needed.
After getting consultant feedback:
Revise the plan accordingly
Re-share updated version in the chat group
Example:
“Thanks for the input. I’ve adjusted the stair direction and toilet position as per your suggestion. Please have a final look.”
Avoid uploading final files until technical doubts are resolved. It saves revision time.
Consultants are trained to handle site-specific issues, local building norms, and even manage client psychology. Trust their inputs when in doubt.
Keep all communications inside the BDesigner platform so the team can track and assist better.
Don’t just write “Is this okay?”
Instead, mention what you want them to check (e.g., “Check for stair location + north-facing vastu compliance”).
If their message seems unclear, politely ask again.
Example:
“Thanks! Just to double-check, do you suggest moving the toilet to the west side or keeping it in the southwest corner?”
| Area | Consultant Helps With |
|---|---|
| Stair Direction | As per Vastu & plot entry |
| Bathroom/Toilet Positions | Vastu zones, plumbing access, privacy |
| Kitchen Placement | Directional alignment, natural ventilation |
| Room Positioning | Zoning for bedroom, pooja, hall, balcony, etc. |
| Column Grids | Structural feasibility & alignment |
| North Direction & Setbacks | Based on site layout and local laws |
| Floor Height & Slope Issues | Based on road level, foundation, or elevation |
| Rental vs Personal Usage | Design strategy based on usage (partition, entry, amenities) |
Working closely with consultants leads to:
Better designs with fewer errors
Higher client satisfaction
Time-saving with fewer revisions
Professional image and high ratings for architects
Always remember — consultants are your support system. They’re here to help you succeed by validating your ideas and ensuring that clients get technically accurate, vastu-compliant, and functional spaces.
Keep everything inside the platform for a traceable, smooth, and professional design process.
